Comprehensive Eye Exams
Routine eye exams are important, regardless of your age or physical health. During a complete eye exam, we will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but we’ll also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health.

Infant and Pediatric Eye Exams
The CAO recommends children get their first eye exam around 6 months of age. Book your baby’s eye exam today!
Diabetic Eye Exams
All diabetics should have a yearly dilated eye exam. In fact, this is so important that the government will cover a portion of your exam! Diabetes is the leading cause of blindness in Canada, and an eye exam can be the first clue to detecting diabetes and other hidden health concerns.
Myopia Management
Myopia (nearsightedness) is a very common eye condition in which the eye does not bend light properly to a single focus. This causes distant objects to appear blurred while nearby objects remain clear. As this condition progresses, not only does distance vision worsen but the eye itself continues to elongate. Higher levels of myopia can be associated with serious eye problems later in life including early cataract formation, glaucoma, macular disease, and retinal detachment, all of which may lead to blindness. There are treatment options to limit or (ideally) prevent progression. Book a myopia control consultation today.
Contact Lens Fittings
If you decide to opt for contact lens wear, it is very important that the lenses fit properly and comfortably and that you understand contact lens safety and hygiene. A contact lens consultation and measurement would be completed by our doctor to determine the proper lens fit.
Advanced Diagnostics
We pride ourselves in staying up to date with the latest technologies proven to detect diseases earlier, and monitor changes more closely. As part of your routine eye exam, we will also perform a glaucoma screening scan of the optic nerve.
Emergency Eye Care
If you experience loss of vision, double vision, swelling, infection or any eye emergency, contact us immediately for guidance. We’ll help you with the best treatment to prevent complications and promote long-lasting clear eyesight.
